Ventilation Services

Ventilation is a method of controlling the environment with air flow, by replacing or changing air to improve indoor air quality. This is used as a control method for exposure to airborne contaminants such as fumes, vapours, and dust, to provide a safe working environment.

Indoor Air Quality

Indoor air quality refers to the air quality within and around buildings and structures, specifically as it relates to the health and comfort of the occupants of the building.

Indoor air quality can be affected by gases (including carbon monoxide, volatile organic compounds), particulates, microbial contaminants or any mass or energy stressor that may cause adverse health effects.

Indoor air quality is an important occupational health and safety factor, including in office environments where most of the workstations are situated in an open plan office space.
